A porn producer, ready to sue HTC for the name of one of their phones

The adult film producer Vivid Entertainment Group has asked the Taiwanese company HTC to change the name of one of its smartphones , sold in the U.S.. The device has caused controversy in the HTC Vivid , and therefore, the production company HTC has requested the name change so that users do not think that both companies are connected.

Porn film producer, Vivid Entertainment, founded in 1984 has sent a letter to the Taiwanese company to delete the name "Vivid" to refer to his model of smartphone and even threatened with legal action if HTC does not change the noun to the November 21, as recorded by Mashable.

The controversial device Android , HTC Vivid, was released in the U.S. and has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. In addition, this smartphone has a 1.2 GHz processor dual-core Qualcomm MDM920 an 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and can capture HD video at 1080p.

The Vivid company lawyer, Mark Hoffman, meanwhile, has already explained in a statement that if HTC continues with this name "creates a false impression of your company and its products affiliated with, connected or associated with, "something that Vivid apparently do not want in any way.

HTC has not yet given any answer, which still remains in the air the future of Android.
