The owner of Siri's voice heard on television that Apple had used

His name is Jon Briggs, a journalist specializing in new technologies and also the voice behind the wizard Siri intelligent voice , at least in the version for the UK. However, Briggs did not know that his voice would ring in thousands of iPhone 4S until he saw the demonstration of how the tool on television.

In fact, his story begins long before the release of the iPhone 4S. Specifically, it all began about six years ago when Briggs took a job as voice recording for the system "Daniel", which was to be used in the software Scansoft, Nuance. For three weeks, journalist 5000 recorded phrases with different intonations read. Since Apple has worked with Nuance to Siri, the voice of the journalist has done well in the new service from Apple. "You are not allowed to license the voice to make money," says Briggs, who does not claim anything Apple but wanted to tell his story. The apple company asked not to reveal the "secret", but he believes he is in his right since it has not signed any contract with the company.
